I thought the same but it shifts super smooth.... and can clutch kick and keeps wonderful hold.... just makes that noise only when letting off the gas in 1st you can hear... 2nd quieter.... and 3rd you can barely hear... have to listen for it.... ITS NUTS!!! parked car in different parking spot where the black top is perfect with no oil stains or anything before went to work today so i could to see if they tranny is leaking or anything and there is a little puddle about the size of golfball..... so who knows.... was going to spend money on parts to make a turbo kit.... but might just spend money now on new clutch and seals and stuff for tranny... if not another s14 tranny

want to have it checked out though by family first to see what they think and if it is transmission then does anyone have one for sale? lol

Been awhile but here's whats new.....
-Changed tranny fluid
-Changed rear end fluid
-Purchased front mount intercooler, piping, couplers, and T25 turbo $200
-Purchased Apexi Auto Timer with AFR meter built in $40
-Pulled my z32 MAF out of storage today
-Pulled my 370cc injectors out of storage
-Had check engine light so checked codes and here's what i got
-15.... says mixture ratio is too lean
-24.... park nuetral switch malfunction
-35.... exhaust gas temp sensor malfunction
-37.... closed loop control front oxygen sensor
-82.... crank sensor
-105.... egr and canister valve malfunction


Things needed....
-Buy bottom mount turbo manifold
-Turbo downpipe
-Oil lines for turbo
-Boost gauge
-Oil dump canister
-SAFC.... Nistune coming this winter

So who knows.... if I get this shit fast enough and put on I will hopefully be at MM on the 20th

I was checking the engine bay today figuring out to wire up all my new toys. Realized that one of the metal lines that come from under my chassis and across firewall over too the brake booster was snapped. Guess ill be fixing that. Was checking out my oxygen sensor and the wiring harness looks good and its connected but threw up the CODE 37. So guess ill buy a new one and replace it. Was checking my EGR stuff due to my CODES 32 and 105. Realized I had few connecters that weren't connected to anything. It was dark and I was inspecting but looks like all my EGR stuff was removed.

Tomorrow I am wiring up the Apexi Auto Timer, mounting intercooler, checking piping to see if anymore is needed or any modifications. Next few days going to pick up SAFC, hotpipe with BOV, and boost guage. In two weeks will be getting my turbo manifold, oil lines, and turbo downpipe. Wont be ready by Midnight Madness but will be ready sooner than I expected.

Put new thermostat in couple days ago. Pulled the thermostat housing and realized i didnt even have one in. After putting new thermostat in and flushing the system car doesnt want to overheat anymore. Cleaned car out. Little by little been cleaning it up. Have a bunch of parts laying around ready to be put on. Changed my set up a little bit in last month. Picking up a SAFC and Innovative wideband in next week. Just picked up a boiled ka24de block thats bore .20 over and micropolished crank. Going to be building that over winter to drop in for next year.... going to atleast get into 1 midnight madness this year if not more.

The red one is my wife's... it has 98k original miles.... all stock and original and she bought it 2 years from an old guy in kentucky..... the white one i puchased about 2 months ago from some guy down in springfield
