S13 rear ball joints!

Question: How many S13 owners are rolling around on 20+ yr old, shot rear ball joints? Well, as we know, if you want rear ball joints for an S13...

Question: How many S13 owners are rolling around on 20+ yr old, shot rear ball joints? Well, as we know, if you want rear ball joints for an S13 from Nissan, you have to buy the whole RLCA (or DO YOU???)...

Also, I am sure that a lot of us have been on Nico Club enough to know there are threads about this. The thread I clued in to cited Moog K9633 joints as a usable replacement ($28.00 delivered on Amazon).

So I ordered a set... At first glance, the Moog K9633 looks taller than the OEM Nissan unit and nothing seems to line up:

BUUUUT when aligned to where they sit when pressed in, everything lines up perfectly:

Also, the diameters etc are the same (refer to Nico thread to see micrometer reading... 38mm IIRC), except the Moog joint is built much more stout and has a lube fitting for greater longevity.

Long story shart, Moog K9633 is your ticket~

Ferrari crash fuels Singapore anti-foreign sentiment
Foreign 2012-05-14 17:56
Singapore, May 14, 2012 (AFP) - A wealthy Chinese expatriate who crashed his million-dollar Ferrari into a taxi killing himself and two others has sparked outrage in Singapore, where anti-immigrant sentiment is on the rise.

Websites were swamped Monday with postings attacking Chinese and other foreigners in the city-state after it was reported that a 52-year-old local cabbie had died of his injuries following Saturday's pre-dawn accident.

The crash instantly killed the 31-year-old Ferrari driver, Ma Chi, while the taxi passenger, a 41-year-old Japanese woman, died in hospital two hours later, a police spokeswoman told AFP.

Police gave no other details but local media said the Ferrari driver was a financial adviser from Sichuan who was applying for permanent residency and already living in a Singapore penthouse with his family.

Disgruntled locals seized on the incident as another reason to attack the government's immigration policies and the presence of more than a million foreign workers and professionals in the crowded city-state.

Foreigners are blamed for pushing up living costs, straining public transport and stealing jobs, with mainland Chinese bearing the brunt of attacks.

The Straits Times newspaper said the Ferrari was a limited-edition model that Ma had bought for Sg$1.8 million ($1.43 million) for his 30th birthday last year.

Pictures from a video of the accident published in local newspapers showed Ma's car apparently ramming the taxi after he allegedly ran a red light following a night out with friends.

Hundreds of indignant comments were posted online.

"I hate to drag nationality into this tragedy but the stupidity of a single (Chinese) possibly drunkard driver has caused such catastrophic damage to so many people," Tan Wee Meng posted on Facebook.

Singapore's population grew from 4.4 million in 2006 to 5.2 million in 2011, largely the result of a higher intake of immigrants as well as guest workers and professionals.

The accident came two months after a Malaysian cleaner at Singapore's Changi Airport was killed after he was hit by a taxi hijacked by a Chinese guest worker.

The government's more open immigration policy was a hot issue during the general elections in May 2011 in which the ruling People's Action Party garnered an all-time low of 60 percent of the vote.

My name is jesse and have been on this forum for a couple years now. My hobbies are skateboarding, music, and cars. I've been into cars since i was little, after school i bought my first sporty car (prelude) and started auto school at jeffco. From there i worked at dobbs off telegraph for 5 years, did one year at dti behind adrenaline and a week at hunter alignment school in technical alignment diagnostics. Learned a lot and did two of my five at dobbs doing alignments. I worked at honda as a used car tech and am now at sapaugh gm country. In that six year period I've progressed in my training and abilities. Wanting to own a shop (like many technicians) I've started doing odd and strategic side jobs that i don't usually do at work. Audio, aftermarket engine work, aftermarket suspension, ect. Also having a family and house does not help me any closer to racing or shop owning. But one day will hopefully be able to work up to something bigger. If and when i get into some form of racing: drift, autocross, ect. i would like to but an old z car. Also, if there are anyone that needs an extra set of hands with their car, whether it is changing tires for them at gate way after a run, mechanical maintenance, or something bigger like a rebuilt. I just want to start getting more involved. I have drive way space, jack, wire welder, stands, compressor, and most of the tools to do what needs to be done. The only thing i ask in return is a ride here and there. If interested in any help pm me.

So I am at the point of putting my fuel tank back in (OEM tank, 92' hatch)...

Decided to get rid of the evap system altogether and run a vent line from the top of the tank to atmosphere... Any ideas/experience on a good safe place to run it to?

Gonna try it with -6AN braided line and an inline filter... If it's too big, I will use silicone line and a vacuum filter. I have read many accounts olf tanks imploding by having the vent sealed off completely so my mind is made up... My biggest concern, however, is unknowingly running the line to an unsafe location... Any input/suggestions appreciated.
